My five photos represent the school and the community around the school. My photos show how school is like a roundabout and how from high school you branch off into the real world.
I chose the first photo because the sun is the beginning of life and I thought that was a good way to start my story. I also used this photo because it shows how many people drive to school.
The second photo displays a school project built by students. The project is an example of some of the classes that you could take while you are at high school.
In the third photo the result of gardening done by students is shown. The flowers show the good spirit of our school and the wheel in the picture is a symbol. The meaning of the wheel is that the center is our school and community and that the spokes are all of the possible routes you can take to enjoy your life.
In the fourth photo you see a flag. The flag is the symbol of our great country. Not only do you see a flag you also see another post. The other post has lights on the top for “Under The Lights” sports games. Going to the games is very fun and when you are at the games you can see all of the school spirit. Sports are definitely seen as important part of our school.
The fifth picture also shows us the football field. Our school loves sports especially football. I took the picture looking down the end line because the line represents how life keeps going on and on. The angle I took the picture at also shows how we are surrounded by beautiful nature everywhere here in Vermont. I also picked this photo because I feel that the line that doesn’t end is a good conclusion to my story and it leaves options open and leads things off into the future.
I decided to tell the story of my community and our school. My pictures show how school is like the center of a wheel and everyone that goes here will take one of the routes from it. The other purpose for my pictures were to show how our community is mixed in with nature everywhere even at school, nature is found everywhere.
